The article presents supervision as a method of facilitating professional growth of teachers from the theoretical and practical point of view. It is presented a summary of qualitative research which has been carried out with 15 participants of supervision process in school year 2002/2003. The questionnaires were comprised of 6 questions about experiences, effects and profits of supervision process. The results of the research are in accordance with findings of other authors and researches and verify numerous good effects of supervision on teachers’s professional development.
