The representative of critical theory Herbert Marcuse has always defended the aspect of psychoanalysis being interesting in its age. This aspect is also successful in defining and understanding the phenomenon of the verbal theatre. Because of the overflow of non-verbal communication in the media, most theoretic see the decline in the verbal theatre and others are pessimistically talking about decease. The present paper about the verbal theatre describes the power of content and meaning in such a theatre. It describes how the powers of concept and ideas still determine the theatre performance, even in a student home. The author will relay the vision and experience of the verbal theatre, theoretically with Hegls lecture on dramatic poetry by his side.
