Children with special needs

Theory and practice

All children, including those with special needs, are alike in the way they gain experiences, their sensibilities, wishes and needs, whereas children with special needs are different inasmuch they are defined by their disability of motion, sight, hearing, speech, behavior or intellectual potential, which puts their entire psychosocial development at risk. Within schooling process, they are children that need aid and adaptation of the processes to be successful. For an individual child with special needs, it is important to be educated and prepared for life within a type of education best suited for him. That’s called inclusion or specialized educational institution.
