Conflicts are an important component of our life and being a part of communication they are inevitable and completely normal. It is important that we do not understand conflicts as a threat, but as a challenge, which will show us different ways to achieve goals in interaction with our colleagues. Conflicts in an organization are mostly consequences of different factors, which we should recognize and learn how to successfully handle them. The aim of this paper is to describe in detail the models for solving conflicts as written by Furlong, Doherty and Guyler as well as the role of management in successful conflict resolution. The notion that the most important source in the modern organization are human resources, gives responsibility to all employees to create possibilities for removal of obstacles and provide opportunities to encourage growth and ensuring help with solving problems.
