Abstract

Youngsters have different attitude on spending their leisure time. New social reality and new technologies dictate new needs. Traditional forms of spending free time are often compensated with virtual meetings on electronic devices and social forums. Some adolescents don’t have leisure time, because they are too busy meeting all the interests they have from school and other activities they are engaged in. Other group of youngsters is overwhelmed by too much stuff going on, so they decide to take step back and reduce their social life on minimum.  Boarding schools have opportunity to offer young individuals qualitive and creative forms of free time activities. In Dijaški dom Bežigrad we are focused on organizing various activities and engage our youth to cooperate and bring their interests and needs.
