Povzetek

V procesu rehabilitacije oseb po pridobljeni možganski poškodbi predstavlja vključevanje v socialno okolje pomembno možnost za razvijanje primernih načinov zadovoljevanja vsakdanjih potreb in doseganje ciljev, kar pri posamezniku krepi občutek lastne vrednosti. Predpogoj je zagotovo neoviran dostop do javnih objektov in prostorov ter komunikacija z okoljem. V prispevku predstavljamo značilnosti možganskih poškodb, temeljna načela integracije in inkluzije ter primere iz prakse, iz katerih so razvidni načini vključevanja oseb z možgansko poškodbo v širše socialno okolje.

Abstract

In the process of rehabilitation of persons with acquired brain injury having opportunity to interact with social environment is very important. It allows persons with brain injury to re-learn appropriate ways to gratify their everyday needs which, furthermore, empowers and builds their self-worth. Unhindered access to public places and communication with the environment are prerequisite to successful interaction in social situations. In the article we present difficulties after brain injury, which affect person’s everyday life, basic principles of integrations and inclusion with good practice cases in the field of rehabilitation after acquired brain injury.
