Povzetek

Za uspešno vključevanje dijakov z aspergerjevim sindromom v vzgojno izobraževalni sistem je pomembno dobro poznavanje težav, s katerimi se srečujejo tako mladostniki, ki sobivajo ob dijaku z AS[1], kot strokovni delavci, ki ga poučujejo in osebno spremljajo. Na primeru dijakinje z AS opišem potek inkluzije, opredelim izzive ter navedem primere dobrih praks, ki so med bivanjem v dijaškem domu pripomogli k izboljšanju socialnih veščin ter učnih navad in s tem zmanjševali simptomatiko, dijakinjo pa opolnomočili za kvalitetnejše življenje v odrasli dobi. Namen članka je podati smernice za uspešno načrtovanje individualizirane pomoči ter osvetliti prednosti vključevanja za ostale strokovne in pedagoške delavce v ustanovi.

Abstract

To integrate students with Asperger Syndrome into educational system successfully, it is important to know well the problems, which the teenagers who live with students with Asperger Syndrome as well as the teachers and other school workers who teach and monitor them, deal with.

By taking an example student with AS, I describe the process of inclusion, define the challenges and give the examples of good practice, which helped the student to improve her social skills while living in the dormitory, her learning habits and skills, reduced the symptoms and equipped her for a greater quality of life as an adult.

The purpose of the article is to give the guidelines for successful planning of individual help and to highlight the advantages of inclusion for other professional and pedagogical workers at the institution.
